Strawberry Picking Field Trips

Cost: $12/Student (Price per Students, Chaperones, Adults, and Siblings)

FREE for Teachers (2 teachers per class are free)

Duration: 2 hours (Private group tour)

Availability: Limited dates April 28th thru May 30th

Description

Students will be immersed into our 108-acre family farm, starting with a hayride to our strawberry fields. Then, they will learn how strawberries grow, pollinate, and finally how to pick the perfect ones to take home. During their time with us, we will also teach them the importance of supporting their local food shed, eating with the growing seasons, and they will have a hands-on planting activity. Upon returning, your classes will have access to our Barnyard Playground area and a private picnic shelter.

Have Lunch with Us!

Teachers can also choose to leave the coolers at school and let us take care of you! That’s right, your class can enjoy a catered lunch from the Farmers’ Daughter Deli and a kids scoop of (Chocolate, Vanilla, or Cotton Candy ice cream) for a total price (field trip, lunch, & ice cream) of $20/student.
